After 20 years of suffering from anxiety, anorexia, and chronic pain, Erin Barry, a thriving dancer, actress, and fitness coach, discovers an effective regimen that resulted in her overall healing.
Her challenging search for helpful programs paid off when the right combination enabled her to make an explosive comeback as a theater artist, and there is no stopping her now. Deeply grateful for her life’s breakthrough, Erin developed her signature 12-week course to help women like her break free from the chains of mental health issues, eating disorders, and emotional trauma.
At the lowest point of her life, Erin Barry’s acting career was put on hold for quite a while. She was also unfairly fired from a company where she poured out three years of her life to teach. She went from juggling 25 coaching classes a week to zero in just a blink of an eye. She knew then that she needed to come up with a permanent solution to her struggles or else she would be trapped in the vicious cycle of relapse.
“I decided to dig real deep, truly listen to myself, and do my own research,” Erin Barry explains. “I sought exclusive help outside of western medicine, and so began a slow and steady path to the strongest, happiest, and healthiest version of myself I’ve ever been. It took about a year, but I really started to feel better,” she adds.
She engaged in a unique combination of programs in order to get to where she is now. Erin did regular meditating, HIIT training and yoga, freewriting, and talk therapy. She also changed her diet significantly and started taking good supplements. The combined results allowed her to go back to taking dance classes and voice lessons. Her comeback performances were also considered one for the books as she exuded a positive vibe, more energy, and an overall happy outlook in life.
Teaching other people her 12-week course toward healing is currently one of her greatest passions in life. She believes that a lot of people are desperate for help, and she wants to be able to offer them what changed her life for good. Being a Master’s Degree holder for Special Education and Behavioral Psychology allowed her to incorporate a spiritually psychological backbone into her unique program. She also teaches her clients proper nutrition to help them cleanse their bodies from toxins. As a result, most of her clients lost significant weight, addressed their anxiety effectively, and now have the ability to combat their depression.
Erin Barry is also very effective in teaching her students to learn to master their bodies first, regardless of their shape, as a jump-off board to their inner and complex healing. She equips them to be physically strong so that they will have the capacity to manage their emotions as they happen. Creating a healthy mindset is also instrumental in the success of Erin’s program.
Making her life story an open book is her way of reaching out to countless women out there who suffer quietly. She hopes to inspire them to regain control of their lives and make something good out of what was supposed to be a bad beginning. Just last year, Erin got back to performing and became a finalist for a New York cabaret show. However, the show closed due to the pandemic. Despite that, Erin kept going knowing she can use all the tools she learned to teach it on her own program. Erin intends to get on a Broadway stage as soon as things open up.
Her approach is more about embracing and looking forward to second chances, that no matter how bad things may have gone in the past years, there is always an opportunity to make a comeback and be the person they hope to be.
