Empowering for Success and Rebuilding Life with Sheila Mac

Life hasn’t always been easy for Beverly Hills-based author Sheila Mac. She went from being homeless and abused to losing everything in a house fire to rediscovering herself and regaining her power. Now, her mission in life is to help people in the same situations rise back up and live their lives.

Inspired by her hardships and her rebirth, Sheila wrote Bootstraps & Bra Straps—The Formula to Go from Rock Bottom and Back into Action in Any Situation!

Through her book, Sheila shows up for all those who have shown up over and over for the people in their lives and now need someone to show up for them. The book offers engaging stories and a proven formula that gets results that the readers need. Sheila wrote it to help anyone in a rock-bottom situation get back into action. The book will be officially launched on August 4, 2020, and will be available on Amazon, Kindle, and Audible formats.

Along with speaking, teaching online courses, and coaching individuals, Sheila has also been a property investor and real estate team leader at Keller Williams in Beverly Hills.

Sheila has an innate ability to find a glimmer of light in even the darkest of situations, and her mission is to teach people how to find that light as well. The book guides readers on how to apply the BOOTS formula, Sheila’s secret to success. The book also touches on various issues such as grief support, finances, career shifts, relationships, parenting adult children, parenting our parents or elder care, abuse, addictions, and lifestyle redesign.

People who have invested their lives in a career, family, or relationship and may have recently hit a rock-bottom situation might find themselves interested in what Sheila’s book has to offer, especially if they are looking to reinvent their lives on their terms.

The BOOTS formula has what one needs to conquer any adversity in their life. BOOTS stands for Being, Orientation, Order of operations, Thinking, and Stepping up. The book goes into detail about how to discover one’s true north. This eases the way into doing what needs to be done and moving forward with one’s life.

Sheila also teaches the healing power of self-assessment, community, and affirmations in one’s life. She believes that affirmations are key to changing one’s mind and life. Saying affirmations is proclaiming, declaring, or stating something as a fact. It could be something that hasn’t happened yet or something one knows but hasn’t lived into fully. When one says these affirmations, their subconscious mind starts to believe them and helps them to live more into having those things actually show up in their lives. It’s not magic; it’s neuroscience. By repeating affirmations, one reprograms their mind to focus and affirm the things they want to show up in their life. Affirmations are a way of empowering future success and ambitions.

Sheila provides interactive exercises within the book that allows readers to write out their course of action and make a game plan for how to change their lives and reclaim their power.

One thing that is unique about this book is that it has birthed a community of encouraging individuals that are treading the same path of redemption. Sheila has inspired a Facebook group of people who are on their way to change.
